Portion Controlling

Probably one of the main reasons that people put on weight and find it hard to lose, is that their portion controlling is all over the place and their focus is on the wrong quantities of certain food groups at the wrong times.

In The 21 Day Plant Powered Shred V2.0 I wanted to move away from a program that was focused on calories and more on the “Double D’s”, nutrient Diversity and Density, as I believe that if you focus on these two elements you will lose weight and improve your health.

Calorie counting does work in my experience but it locks you into a structured way of living that is not sustainable long term, would you want it to be?

By using the plate method of portion controlling you are rewarded for focusing on the nutrients you add in, rather than what you can get away with eating, which in my mind is a backwards way of educating anyone on nutrition.
