Are you a Human Being or a Human Doing?

Performance, Philosophy, Training

The clue is in our name, but we have come to believe that to become more, we must do more, whereas all we need to do is start being ourselves, being who we came here to be and being in each special moment of our lives.

To experience our true nature and in fact to experience natures truth, we must shift into a state of being rather than doing, or presence and awareness.

We have all been programmed to believe that doing more is good and valid, but all that the constant doing does is create the need to do more and the belief that then not doing is unproductive and therefore not valid.

The more we can shift from doing to being, the calmer and more peaceful our inner worlds become and the calmer and peaceful our outer worlds become in reflection to our inner world.

Become the conscious observer and you will bring fascination back into your life and you will slip into the flow state of the natural energy around you.

Doing is still super important, we must do to take action in order to create, which is what we are, beings of creation, but we must know when to shift gears and go back into being.

Don’t stay out in the ‘Doing Desert’ for too long, or you will become lost in the sands of time.

There’s no doubt about it though, if you want to get Fit, Strong and Healthy there is a decent amount of DOING needed to achieve the physical goals you are aiming for but the BEING comes in how present you are when performing the activity.

It drives me nuts when I see people in the gym sat with their heads in their mobile phones, or reading newspapers or books on exercise bikes (I’ve seen that a few times before).

You will never achieve any physical goals if you are not present with what you are doing, bringing focus, intention and attention to what activity you are performing, it will give you results but it will also give you so much more value and pleasure when performing the activity.
