Finally, the 4th and final video in my Nurture Your World series finishes with Movement and Exercise.
It’s taken me three weeks to find the inspiration to create this video but I knew when the time was right, the right words and meaning would come.
Why do you exercise?
It’s an interesting question to ponder as I know the reason I first became interested in Fitness and ultimately entered the fitness industry was down to the comments made by a couple of my teachers at school when I was carrying some excess weight and it instilled in me this drive to improve my body so that it wouldn’t happen again, and so the seeking of self-validation from external sources began.
It wasn’t until 2014 that I began working on myself and what now I know was a journey of self-love, learning to find validation in the only place you ever need it, from within.
Movement and Exercise has now transformed for me into something that I do instinctively when I feel the call to move, rather than out of obsession, guilt or from the seeking of validation from others.
But this has just been my journey with fitness, yours maybe different or there maybe similarities, either way, do what feels right for you and your body in the moment.

Moving our body should be an expression of creativity and ultimate freedom rather than a chore to complete.
